- My goal for this network is to provide a hub for professionals to get together exchange ideas, find work and build something lasting. I want success and I want to share success.
- Biography
- I always had a camera since I was 8 years old. I started with a 35mm film camera. I have been drawing and scribbling since around that time also. I went to the High School of Art & Design in NYC (class of 97). I picked up computer graphics and 3d modeling while there.
When I went to college, I was advised against pursuing a career in art by folks who thought they had my best interest at heart. So I started learning computer programming and naturally gravitated toward web design/development because it incorporated art or media.
I got a pro gig as a product photographer and catalog designer through a stroke of luck. Since then I have been honing my photography craft seriously. Plus a good portion of my retouching and compositing skills came from working there.
Fast forward to today, I photograph people and other things/topics that are important to me. Like for instance, I'm getting into stories and I will be self publishing books (coffee table not novels!) in the future featuring topics that aren't always at the forefront.
